Curriculum Resources - Update

The Forum's Curriculum Toolbox is undergoing a transformation in name, location and format. We ask for your patience as we work through this transition over the coming weeks.

NEW NAME - The Education Abroad Teaching and Learning Toolbox.

ABOUT - The Teaching and Learning Toolbox is an online peer-reviewed resource center where educators share their unique approaches and instructional innovations to encouraging student learning through education abroad. The Toolbox contains education abroad course and program profiles and artifacts, including submissions from past winners of the Award for Excellence in Education Abroad Curriculum Design.

LOCATION - While still maintained and curated by The Forum on Education Abroad, The Teaching and Learning Toolbox will be published in cooperation with our partner at Frontiers: The Interdisciplinary Journal of Study Abroad beginning early Fall 2024. This partnership with Frontiers brings several advantages:
- increases accessibility and searchability of published materials
- removes barriers to access for colleagues inside and outside the U.S.
- enables authors to gather publication statistics for documenting their excellence, including but not limited to tenure, promotion and advancement in teaching, service and/or engagement.

CURRICULUM AWARD: The new toolbox will remain the repository where finalists and winners of The Forum's Award for Excellence in Education Abroad Curriculum Design are disseminated. Learn more about the Curriculum Award and the new submission process.
