Date: Wednesday, Feb. 7th 2024 Title: Relevance & Reciprocity in Global Learning Spaces: Leveraging the Carnegie Elective Classification for Community Engagement Time: 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Eastern Description: Education abroad (EA) and community engagement (CE) offices have shared interests in their concerns for student learning and success, partnerships, and reciprocity. In practice, these shared interests don’t necessarily result in increased collaboration on the ground. The result is missed opportunities to co-identify promising practices to achieve common goals and to respond to shared challenges, particularly in the realm of teaching, learning and working in and with local and global communities to improve our shared futures. |
