Education abroad professionals are encountering students with a wide range of mental health needs and concerns. Many student-facing staff feel underprepared to provide the necessary support that many education abroad students now demand. How do you decide whether to address the underlying issue from a student development or customer service perspective?
At The Forum’s Regional Seminar: Advancing Best Practices for Today's Student and Staff Mental Well-Being, we built skills to support today's education abroad students, as well as on-site international educators, faculty, and staff. Hosted in collaboration with Syracuse University, Tufts Global Education, and The Forum on Education Abroad, this one-day event was for international education professionals in and around the United Kingdom who are interested in enhancing the on-site experiences of learners and fostering collaboration among colleagues across Europe. |
