Summer Accelerated Residency*

The Accelerated Residency is a unique opportunity to engage deeply with the Standards of Good Practice for Education Abroad and learn alongside colleagues. During this intensive three-day residency, you will attend all six of the workshops that make up the Professional Certification Program. By the end of the residency, you will have the foundation and resources needed to complete the program assignments when you return home.

15th Annual Institute on Health, Safety, Security and Risk Management*
June 18 (virtual) and June 26-28 (Denver)

The Institute for Health, Safety, Security and Risk Management is education abroad’s signature annual event focusing on the risk management issues faced daily by higher education organizations and institutions. Gain a wealth of tools to review, strengthen, and improve institutional and organizational strategies for risk mitigation, incident prevention, emergency response, and overall wellbeing for students and education abroad professionals.

Funding Available to Support Your Participation

The Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) generously provides funding to underrepresented business schools to access professional development programming offered by The Forum on Education Abroad. Access grants are available to support registration in the Professional Certification in Education Abroad and the Institute for Health, Safety, Security, and Risk Management virtual and in-person events. ​

The Sara’s Wish Foundation grants are available to help organizations and individuals meet their education abroad health and safety objectives. Applications for funding are available for the following Forum on Education Abroad events and professional development programs.
