The State of the Field Report has tracked the latest trends and emerging practices in our field since 2006. This year's survey is the most comprehensive yet, including expanded data on international educators' professional roles, responsibilities, and job satisfaction as well as a look back at how far we've come since COVID-19 began.

Corrigenda: On August 4, 2023, the 2022 State of the Field Report was updated to correct the following minor errors identified in the original printing. Readers who accessed or downloaded copies prior to that data are encouraged to download the updated version above to ensure that they are accessing the most accurate information available.

p. 11, Figure: Institutional Commitment to Increasing Education Abroad Participation and Success, U.S. Institutions who answered "No" to "Is your institution or organization actively trying to send more students abroad each year?" is 12%.
p. 12, Figure: Approximately when/did will your education abroad programs resume operations?, second to last unit from the right should be labeled January 2023, not Jan 2022 as previously published.
p. 15, first paragraph, "Survey respondents were asked to rate a series of concerns...on a 5-point Likert scale from very concerned to very unconcerned."
