The Forum on Education Abroad’s Careers, Internships, and Global Learning (CIGL) Conference—taking place in Lisbon, Portugal in 2026—is a future-focused event that will bring together leaders in career services, international education, and industry to reimagine how we prepare students for a rapidly evolving global workforce. Together, we’ll explore how immersive international experiences cultivate career readiness and spark innovation. 

The CIGL Conference creates a space for education and industry professionals to share bold ideas, interdisciplinary collaboration, and emerging research to address the challenges and possibilities of global career preparation.  

Join us in Lisbon from October 11-13 to examine how global experiences can shape the next generation of professionals—and the future of work itself.
