During this intensive three-day residency, you will attend all six of the workshops that make up the Professional Certification Program. By the end of the residency, you will have the foundation and resources needed to complete the program assignments when you return home.

Health, Safety, Security and Risk Management InstituteThe Annual Institute on Health, Safety, Security and Risk Management is the premiere event for education abroad professionals focused on risk management issues. Centering Justice InstituteCentering Justice Institute provides attendees with resources and strategies to create more inclusive policies and program structures with the goal of improving access and support for education abroad for first generation and other underrepresented college. The Institute uses the Standards of Good Practice for Education Abroad as a foundation and the Interdependence: Global Solidarity and Local Actions Toolkit as a resource.

European InstituteThe Institute will include workshops from a European perspective focused on equity, diversity and inclusion, supporting students’ mental health, and sustainability. A facilitated open forum will close the institute which will engage participants in producing a curated deliverable to share with the education abroad community.
