The Forum conference theme, “Being There: Teaching and Learning Abroad,” focuses on the unique opportunities and challenges of teaching and learning at education abroad sites.  A particular emphasis will be on the dynamics of education abroad student learning and the best practice strategies that assure high quality in education abroad teaching and learning. 

On-line registration is now open.

 

 

All of the Forum member institutions in the northwest will serve as host institutions for the conference, including AHA International, Gonzaga University, Intercultural Communication Institute, Lewis and Clark College, Linfield College, the Oregon University System, Pacific Lutheran University, Portland State University, Seattle University, University of Oregon, University of Puget Sound, Whitman College, Whitworth University, and Willamette University. “We are pleased to have so many dedicated Forum member institutions in the northwest that will help to make the Portland Conference a great success,” said Forum President and CEO Brian Whalen.
