The Forum on Education Abroad announces a leadership transition within its Forum Council, as Joy Phaphouvaninh, Director of Illinois Abroad and Global Exchange at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, concludes her term as Chair and completes her service as a Council member.
From June 25-27, more than 200 education abroad professionals convened in Chicago for The Forum on Education Abroad’s sold out Institute on Health, Safety, Security, and Risk Management 2025. As education abroad evolves amid increasing uncertainty, this Institute continues to provide critical tools, peer learning, and cross-sector insights to help institutions safeguard the well-being of students, faculty, and staff abroad.
